Kathryn McCormick (born 7 July 1990) is an American contemporary actress and dancer best known for placing third in the sixth season of So You Think You Can Dance, the American televised dance competition in which she earned the highest placement for a woman on the season.
She has appeared in seasons 7-13 as one of the show's "all-stars."

Life and career
Kathryn began dancing at age three at her mother's studio, Dance Connection, and later moved to Augusta West Studio, where her mother, Sandra Schmieden, had also studied. At the age of 18, she migrated to Los Angeles and ended up playing a non-leading role in the remake of Fame. Kevin McCormick has also been featured in Christina Perri's Jar of Hearts music video. She appeared on Dancing with the Stars on November 20, 2012 and April 7, 2014. In Muse's music video "Dead Inside," she is featured as the female dancer. Kathryn and her partner, Jacob Patrick, premiered their documentary Like Air in 2015. Kathryn wanted to highlight her mentorship with three of her proteges from Dance Makers INC. The film focuses on McCormick's mentorship for three girls while they train for DanceMakers Nationals. Dance Makers INC is on tour with the dance convention and competition Dance Makers INC.
