Kathleen Wilhoite (born June 29, 1964) is a comedian, film, and television actress as well as a singer-songwriter.
She is best known for her appearances in the films Witchboard (1986), Murphy's Law (1986), Road House (1989), Lorenzo's Oil (1992), and The Edge (1997).

Early life
Kathleen Wilhoite was born in Santa Barbara, California, on June 29, 1964. She first appeared in stage productions as a child with the Santa Barbara Youth Theatre. She attended the University of Southern California before focusing on acting at the Lee Strasberg Institute in Los Angeles.
Personal life
Wilhoite married guitarist David Harte in 1997, with whom she has two children; a son, James; and a daughter, Ruby. Wilhoite and Harte adopted Adu from Ethiopia in the early 1990s.
Career
Wilhoite made her film debut in Private School (1983), and she appeared in the television film Quarterback Princess the same year. She appeared on television programs The Jeffersons and Cagney & Lacey later in 1985. She appeared in the film Murphy's Law, directed by J. Lee Thompson, as well as a supporting role as a psychic in the supernatural horror film Witchboard in 1986.
