The Princess of Wales' video revealing her cancer treatment was rushed out by Kensington Palace staff after her diagnosis had been leaked, according to the Mail. In a video message on March 22, Kate Middleton (pictured) announced that she had been diagnosed with cancer and was undergoing "preventive chemotherapy" for the disease. However, a well-placed source has confirmed that the timing of the video had nothing to do with the rumors that might have sprung from her missing church on Easter morning, but rather because someone knew of her health condition. According to the Insider, Kensington Palace had been contacted about Kate's illness, leaving no choice but to get to the story. It's unclear if the leak came from within The London Clinic (inset), where the Princess underwent abdominal surgery in January, or somewhere else.
