Karisma Kapoor (born 25 June 1974) is an Indian film actress.

Kapoor, one of the most well-paid Hindi film actresses, is best known for her role in the female-centric films, and her appearances have been credited as a major departure from Hindi film actresses' traditional portrayal of women.

Kapoor made her acting debut in 1991 with the romantic drama Prem Qaidi, opposite debutant Harish Kumar.
