Karan Singh Grover (born 23 February 1982) is an Indian television actor best known for his work in Indian television series Dill Mill Gayye and Qubool Hai.

He has also appeared in the Indian films Alone and Hate Story 3. Grover made a comeback to television in 2019 with Kasautii Zindagii Kay as Mr. Rishabh Bajaj, Grover, who was reportedly charged 3 lakhs per day for the role, making him the highest paid TV actor yet.

Grover made his digital debut with BOSS: Baap of Special Services.

Early life

Grover was born in New Delhi, India, on February 23rd, 1982, to a Punjabi Sikh family. He has a younger brother. Grover's family moved to Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia, when he was young. He completed his education in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, and pursued a degree in Hotel Management from IHM Mumbai. He began working as a Marketing Executive at the Sheraton Hotel in Oman.

Personal life

Shraddha Nigam, a famous actress, married Grover on December 2nd, 2008. After ten months, they separated. On September 9, 2012, he married Jennifer Winget. In 2014, the couple divorced. Bipasha Basu, a devoted student at Grover, was born on April 30, 2016. Basu revealed in July 2022 that she was expecting her first child with Grover.

Grover was selected for the "Most Popular Model" award in the Gladrags Manhunt Competition in 2004. He began his television work with Balaji Telefilms' youth show Kitni Mast Hai Zindagi on MTV India, for which he was selected after a national talent search conducted by the production house in 2004.

Grover appeared in Dill Mill Gayye, a medical youth drama, in 2007. Grover became a "instant hit" and a "teen icon" as a result of the performance, according to the Times of India, and that the film became the nation's biggest show on STAR One. Grover, who was shooting for Dill Mill Gayye, was also involved in a few reality shows and was also seen in several advertisements.
