Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez expressed concerns that former President Trump might imprison her if he wins the upcoming election. Speaking with podcast host Kara Swisher, she emphasized how critics should take Trump at his word regarding his threats and intentions. During a Fox News interview last week, Trump dismissed claims of seeking retribution but mentioned the right to pursue actions against critics post-election. Ocasio-Cortez acknowledged the possibility of Trump winning and the potential threat to democracy, urging support for Biden despite his unpopularity among young voters.

Critics slam Elon Musk for suggesting Covid vaccine may be responsible for Bronny James' cardiac arrest and brand him a 'bottomless pit of attention addiction'

www.dailymail.co.uk, July 26, 2023
Critics have slammed Elon Musk (left) for wading into Bronny James' (right) health issue, accusing him of being 'addicted' to attention after he said the basketballer's cardiac arrest was attributed to the Covid vaccine. In a scathing tweet directed at Musk, Kara Swisher (inset), a tech journalist and frequent critic of Musk, said it's 'never someone else's tragedy that this bottomless heap of attention does not find a heinous way to insert himself, often inaccurate but never in doubt.' Though sports stars and fans were wishing for Bronny's recovery after the cardiac arrest, Musk was quick to point out that the Covid vaccine might have been to blame in a controversy that sparked intense backlash. After collapsing at the Galen Center in Washington, LeBron James, the son of NBA star LeBron James, was rushed to hospital and admitted to ICU. He is now in a stable state and has been released from intensive care. Musk tweeted: 'We can't ascribe everything to the vaccine,' Musk said, but by the same token, we can't scribe nothing.' Myocarditis [the inflammation of the heart] is a common side-effect. The only thing is whether it is rare or common.' In a scathing tweet in which she wrote: "There's never anyone else's tragedy, a group of children trapped, and a mad man struck by a lunatic," Swisher said, "this bottomless pit of attention addiction does not have a heinous way to insert himself into it, usually wrong but never in doubt."
