After a shooting that occurred not far from the show's production area on Wednesday, the team behind Chicago Fire was compelled to suspend filming. According to CWBChicago, a gunman and crew of A.A. The assassination gunman fired multiple shots at people before launching into a black SUV and escaping through an alleyway. According to the media outlet, it was not immediately clear who the gunman was firing towards. On Chicago Fire, a fire broke out nearby, causing confusion as the true firefighters were in the same uniforms as the actor firefighters.
