Kang Seung-yoon Career

Life and career

Kang Seung-yoon was born in Busan, South Korea, on January 21, 1994, as a Catholic with the baptismal name Don Bosco and as an only child. His parents separated in the early years of his childhood and were no longer in touch with their father, who did not know how to return from their lives until news of his death was announced long after his death was confirmed long after his death was announced. His mother owned a business but was struggling financially as a result of balancing out the accrued debt. It culminated in the total amount of money being allocated to the debt, and as a result, she was forced to borrow more money for additional expenses, which in turn, resulted in more liabilities and increased debt and hardship.

Kang excelled in mathematics with a IQ of 141; however, in his second year of middle school, he became a victim of bullying by those he regarded as "friends" and dropped out of middle school after suffering social anxiety disorder. He learned how to play classical guitar from an academy and took billiards lessons for a short time, where he encountered a man 5–6 years older than him who later contributed to his anxiety. He then decided to pursue a career as a child, which included research, becoming a scientist, a comic book author, or a billiards player, of whom he continued to play until his first year of high school. Kang took the GED exam for middle school and enrolling in Busan High School of Arts as a major in classical guitar and later considered becoming a singer. Kang graduated in 2012.

Kang, 17-year-old Kang (Korean age), participated in the regional preliminary audition for Superstar K2 (2010). He initially refused to audition with him in the hopes of gaining fame without using it, but then agreed to his friend's request and continued to study guitar lessons to improve his skills three months before. Kang made the preliminaries with Jonathan Rhys Meyers' "This Time" and finished fourth behind Huh Gak, John Park, and Jang Jae-in out of over 1,350,000 applicants. Both judges and audiences alike applauded Yoon Jong-shin's rendition of "Instinctively" (gheog-eulo) in his last performance. Kang's digital debut led to his first number one single as a solo artist and neared 2 million digital copies. At the Gaon Chart Awards and "Rookie of the Month" (October) at the Cyworld Digital Music Awards, it was a hit. Kang was invited to a meeting to discuss an agreement to join them as a trainee. Kang signed with them on January 12, 2011 and began training on March 9. "Since Superstar K2 came, there had been a lot of bids," he said. Some said they'd make me a star of Asia, while others said a large sum of money for a job. I chose YG Entertainment because this organization treated me objectively, unlike others, who assumed that I was viewed as a genuine student."

Kang was the fourth artist to debut the original soundtrack for Midas (2011), during his traineeship. "You Are Heaven" (no. ; niga cheon) topped both real-time and daily South Korean music streaming services, including Genie, and reached number 11 on the Gaon Digital Chart.
