Kaitlyn Black (born July 29, 1983) is an American actress known for her role as Annabeth Nass in The CW comedy-drama series Hart of Dixie.

Her character was a member of the fictional town of Bluebell, Alabama's southern belles.

In season 2, her character took a more central role as she became involved with the town mayor.

In Season 3, her character became a regular on the show.

Life and career

Black grew up in Copley, Ohio, and graduated from Revere High School in Richfield, Ohio, in 2001. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Theater from Kent State University in 2005. She has been acting in musical and other theaters since her sixth grade and began performing in jazz, tap, and ballet before that.

In the medical drama thriller Hart of Dixie starring Rachel Bilson, Black played a southern belle. In September 2011, the series debuted on The CW.

Kaitlyn Black has appeared off-Broadway in the improv musical #DateMe: An okcupid experiment that lasted three years at Second City and other Chicago venues.
