In her early career, she appeared in Waiting... (2005) and Accepted (2006).

Rhonda Lyon appeared in the Fox musical prime time soap opera Empire, from 2015 to 2016.

Doubleday appeared on a CMT musical drama series Nashville in 2017. Jessie Caine played Jessie Caine in 2017.

In 2019, she took the lead in Christmas at Graceland: Home for the Holidays.

Early life

Frank Doubleday and Christina Hart's elder daughter was born and raised in Los Angeles. She grew up in a show business family: her parents are former actors, and her younger sister, Portia, is an actress as well. Her mother is both a playwright and also a producer in the theatre. She attended Hamilton High School in Los Angeles.

Personal life

Doubleday became engaged to Devin Lucien, a DJ, in Paris in May 2015. She and Lucien married in Big Sur on May 6, 2016. The couple have a son who was born in 2019.

Career

In 2002, Doubleday made her acting debut in an episode of CBS procedural Without a Trace and later this year appeared in the film Catch Me If You Can. She has appeared in supporting roles in films Waiting... (2005), The TV Set (2006), and Accepted (2006). She appeared in the ABC comedy film Cavemen in 2007. After a month on the air, the series received poor feedback and was cancelled. Doubleday continued on television in the years, with limited appearances on CSI: Brothers & Sisters, Bones, The Closer, Criminal Minds, Drop Dead Diva, and Witches of East End. Logan Louis appeared in the recurring role in the HBO comedy series Hung in 2011.

Doubleday debuted in the Fox musical prime time soap opera Empire in 2015. Rhonda Lyon, wife of the eldest son of the Lyon family, appeared in Rhonda Lyon. She appeared in the independent drama film Po directed by John Asher in 2015 about a single father raising a son with autism. In June 2016, Doubleday appeared as a celebrity guest on The CW's improvisational comedy show Whose Line Is It Anyway. In an episode titled "The Water Rises," she appeared in the Australian horror film Scary Endings with Australian actor Adam J. Yeend.

Following Connie Britton's departure in 2017, Doubleday joined the cast of CMT's musical drama series Nashville in its fifth season. Jessie Caine, a singer/songwriter, was portrayed by the actress. Her character was introduced in the series's 100th episode on June 15, 2017.
