Justin Roiland (born February 21, 1980) is an American voice actor, animator, writer, producer, and game designer.
He is best known as the co-creator of Adult Swim's Rick and Morty, in which he plays the show's titular characters.
He is also known for portraying the Earl of Lemongrab on Cartoon Network's Adventure Time and Blendin Blandin on Gravity Falls.

Early life
Roiland was born and raised in Manteca, California. He attended Sierra High School up until the first quarter of his senior year and then transferred to Manteca High School for the remainder of his senior year, graduating in 1998. He attended Modesto Junior College in Modesto, California, after high school. Roiland is dyslexic.
Career
He began attending Channel101, a Los Angeles media pair founded by Dan Harmon and Rob Schrab, where he produced and appeared in numerous movie shorts (such as 2 Girls One Cup: The Show, House of Cosbys, and a small role as musician Christopher Cross in the film Yacht Rock) and in the VH1 television series Acceptable TV. As "Blonde Craig" on Comedy Central, he appeared on the Sarah Silverman Program on Comedy Central, he appeared on regularly. He co-hosted The Grandma's Virginity Podcast from 2010 to 2016 with future Rick and Morty journalist Ryan Ridley and future Steven Universe producer Jackie Buscarino.
Adult Swim approached Harmon in 2012 to create a new animated series for their network. Harmon approached Roiland and founded Rick and Morty, which debuted in 2013 to burgeoning success.
