Drew Barrymore and Justin Long are seriously wowing us with their maturity and poise — but are they too cool with each other, considering their past history??
The 47-year-old talk show host invited her ex-boyfriend on Monday’s episode of the Drew Barrymore Show, and it was truly a love-fest for the ages! Of course, Drew and her Going the Distance co-star dated on and off from 2007 through 2010, so there is a lot of history there. But Justin has long since moved on with new girlfriend Kate Bosworth!!
It looks like Kate Bosworth is ready to make her breakup with Michael Polish official!
According to online records obtained by TMZ, the 39-year-old actress filed for divorce on Friday in Los Angeles County Superior Court after nearly 9 years of marriage. However, it seems like the filing was nothing more than a formality. Kate actually announced back in August 2021 that the two were separating on Instagram – but noted that things would always be good between them:
Safe to say Justin Long’s relationship with Kate Bosworth is going very well!
Back in January, we heard that the two actors had struck up a romance after meeting on set of a new film in 2021. (Kate announced her split from husband Michael Polish later that same year.) The couple has kept their relationship on the down-low for the most part, though Justin did reference a “girlfriend” who is fond of pineapple on pizza during his podcast Life is Short.
I’m so excited about this that the hairs on my arms are standing up, creating little raised mounds of skin! Huge thanks to disney PLUS disneyplus for trusting me with such a cherished franchise. (Gonna need some pointers from The Master jackblack :) P.s. Fortunately for me and almost everyone watching, the character I’m playing will NOT have this mustache 🥳
Michael Cera and I would rather not have our photo taken while on the red carpet for our movie “Youth in Revolt”. The late GREAT Fred Willard reprimands the photographers who were paid to be there to help promote our movie (while my old friend portiadd wonders what’s happening :) #fbf P.s. Michael and I got to catch up on a recent episode of lifeisshortpodcast - so SO fun. Listen wherever you listen to podcasts or on wonderymedia :)
Few people entertain and delight me more than my old (young) pal, Michael Cera. I fell in love w Mike when my old roommate costarred in “Super Bad” w him - and a few years later we got to do “Youth in Revolt” together. I was always struck how advanced Michael’s comedic instincts were - as though he’d honed them over a long illustrious career (and yet he was barely 20). On the latest episode of lifeisshortpodcast, Instagram-less Michael and I talk about the old days, how he cultivated friendships with late-great comedy legends like Gene Wilder, Charles Grodin and Gary Shandling, his recent foray into fatherhood, how he met his wife, what our YouTube algorithms are having us watch, Mike’s new show w amyschumer called “Life After Beth”, and much much more. I haven’t laughed this much with an old friend in a long time - it was SUCH a joy. Listen to lifeisshortpodcast wherever you listen to podcasts!
As #Barbarian press stuff winds down, I wanted to acknowledge my gratitude for everyone who made this movie such a special experience. #1 my favorite acting coach + scene partner who ran lines with me and helped me feel so prepared for such a fun but demanding role. #2 the Bulgarian store owners and baristas who made our stay in Sofia SO enjoyable. #3 (see #1). #4 + #5 the INCREDIBLE crew of some of the best makeup artists I’ve ever worked with. #6 the WHOLE crew lead by our great director zcregger and brilliant DP, Zach Kuperstein and the man who held it ALL together with so much humor and positivity, Todor Chapkanov - one of the best 1st AD’s I’ve ever worked with. And equally professional and positive, our 2nd AD, Natasha Roth. Barbarian isn’t out yet in Bulgaria but I wish they could see how much people in America are enjoying all the hard work they put into this movie. AND they were SO patient in their ill-fated attempts to teach me Bulgarian. Thank you, my Bulgarian friends! And thanks to everyone for going to see the movie - and for telling your friends to see it! And to the fantastic PR team at Disney for putting this labor of love out into the world with so much care and creativity. (And to my own team at vision.pr - thanks, Jess!) It’s been so cool to see the response this movie is getting - especially for an old show pony like me :) Now for a little internet break!
