Early life
Juliet Ibrahim was born to a Lebanese father and a Ghanai-Liberian mother. She is the oldest child and has two sisters, including actress Sonia Ibrahim and a brother. Due to civil wars, Juliet and her siblings spent the longest part of their childhood in Lebanon and the Ivory Coast. She began her primary education in Lebanon and then moved to Ivory Coast for her secondary education, where she lived with her parents. She studied English, French, and Spanish at the Ghana Institute of Languages, where she learned English, French, and Spanish. At the Ghana Institute of Journalism, she also studied marketing, Advertising, and Public Relations.
Ibrahim has said that in Africa she is not considered a black woman due to her skin tone, but that outside Africa she is recognized as being black. She reacted angrily to the word 'halfcaste,' and said she was 'Black and proud of it.'
Career
In the 2005 film Crime to Christ starring Majid Michel, Ibrahim made her acting debut. Yankee Boys was her first Nollywood film, and she has appeared in more than 50 films since then. In 2014, she made her first film Number One Fan, in which she appears as an actor being stalked by a fan. On December 5, Ghana, her 2nd film, 'Shattered Romance,' paraded Nigerian and Ghanaian actors, premiered in Accra, Ghana, amid a fanfare. TPA's latest TV series, "Every Woman Has A Story," in which she debuted her directorial abilities, is airing on Terrestrial TV and her new Reality Show, The Perfect Assistant. She has appeared in Twi movies, in Yoruba language films, and also in Ladan Aure, a Hausa Language film.
