Juliet Mia "Julie" Warner (born February 9, 1965) is an American actress.

Early life

Warner was born to Naomi, an independent marketing consultant, and Neil Warner, a composer and pianist. Jack Shilkret, her paternal grandfather, and Nathaniel Shilkret, her paternal uncle, were composers. Warner attended the Dalton School at the age of twelve. Warner was urged to audition by an agent who accompanied her. Warner was offered a role in Guiding Lights just short of being released. At Brown University, Warner studied theater arts. Warner moved to Los Angeles, where she worked as a waitress during auditions for acting. She is Jewish.

Personal life

In June 1995, Warner married writer-director Jonathan Prince. They have a son named Jackson, who was born in 1997. They have separated now.

Warner appeared in two episodes of Star Trek: The Next Generation, "Booby Trap" in 1989 and "Transfigurations" in 1990. In addition, she produced commercials for Pert Plus.

Warner's most well-known roles include her 1991 breakout co-starring role with Michael J. Fox in Doc Hollywood, then her co-starring role with Billy Crystal in 1992's Mr. Saturday Night. She was in Indian Summer 1993, The Puppet Masters, based on Robert A Heinlein's book of the same name in 1994, and Tommy Boy in 1995. She also appeared in Pride and Joy in 1995. 853 She appeared in the television series Family Law as Danni Lipton, as well as Megan O'Hara in Nip/Tuck. In 2005, Warner began acting as the wife of Howie Mandel in his short-lived hidden camera/situation comedy Hidden Howie: A Public Nuisance and then appeared in the 2006 film Stick It. A guest appearance on a House episode is among the other screen credits. She appeared in the 2008 Hallmark Channel film Our First Christmas, in which she plays a mother struggling to navigate the tough waters of merging two families after the deaths of her own and her new husband's spouses.
