Bergan first started posting covers on YouTube at the age of 16, before signing a record with Warner Music Norway in 2013.

In 2015, she achieved mainstream success with her single All Hours, crossing the boundaries to Denmark and Germany, before breaking through in Norway in 2016, with Arigato debuting at number one.

Turn on the Light, Bergans first album, was released in 2018.

After collaborating with K-391, Alan Walker, and Seungri on "Ignite," she regained the top spot on VG-lista in 2018.

Cir.Cuz's "Supernova" was her debut on the Norwegian Singles Chart in 2012, securing her position at number five on the Norwegian Singles Chart. She appeared in Melodi Grand Prix 2013 as the national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 with the song "Get a Little Bit Back," which she wrote with Ben Adams and Sara Skjoldnes. In Steinkjer, she did not qualify for the semi-finals. Warner Music Norway had her contract in September 2013. "Younger" was her first single from her in early 2014.

She wrote and performed a number of songs after her single "Arigato" was announced, but it was the first time she was known outside of national boundaries. In 2016, the song debuted at number five on the Swedish singles chart, and it was nominated for Song of the Year at the Norwegian Grammy Awards in 2016. She dropped her second single from her debutant album "Blackout" on January 13th. "If You Love Me" by american rapper Tunji Ige, and her fourth single "Incapable" on September 9th, 2017. She released her fifth album, "Guilt Trip," on January 26th, 2018. "Turn On The Lights" was her debutant album on February 2nd. According to VG-Lista, the album debuted on Norwegian charts and ranked at number one. "It's Lit Tour pt" was her first concert tour in March. "I" is the I" in Norway. May 11th, Alan Walker and K-391 dropped "Ignite" a single starring Julie Bergan and Seungri, a top No.1 on Norwegian Charts and 13th at the Swedish singles chart, peaking at no. 1 at Norwegian Charts VG-Lista and thirteen at No.1. She appeared on Coachella as a guest and EDC Japan Festival as a spectator alongside Alan Walker on Alan Walker's appearance. She was on her third tour in summer, "It's Lit Tour pt." In Norway, the United Kingdom, France, and Sweden, there is a "I" in II." She appeared on festivals in Norway and Sweden, as well as in London and Paris clubs. "U Got Me" became her first album at the end of 2018.
