Early life and education
She was born in Shah Alam, Selangor, on July 5th, 1989. Her father is of British and American descent, and her mother is of Malays descent. She is the youngest of three siblings.
At the age of 15, she represented Selangor in the Artistic Gymnastics Festival, which was also hosted by the Malaysian School Sports Council. (MSSC)
Honours from Sunway University in Selangor obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communication. She continued her education at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Michigan USA, in 2012, where she obtained a Master's Degree in Film, Video, and Media studies, which was awarded with distinction. She has also been named to the Dean's List Award for her outstanding academic achievement. Following her graduation in 2014, she undertook an acting class at the New York Film Academy in New York, United States.
