Julian Benson (born 26 February 1971) is a talent agent, choreographer, and is also known for his role as a judge on RTÉ One's Dancing with the Stars.
Early life
Julian Benson was born in Adelaide, Australia, where he did his formative dance lessons. Julian was twelve years old when he and his family immigrated to Ireland.
Personal life
At the age of two, Benson was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis and was given a life expectancy of thirteen years. In an interview with Ryan Tubridy on The Late Late Show, Benson kept his illness private for more than four decades before revealing it to the world.
In 2018, Benson founded the Julian Benson CF Foundation, an charity that aims to assist people with cystic fibrosis. The foundation held a charity ball on December 8th, 2018 to raise funds. Eoghan McDermott hosted the event, which attracted a large number of Irish celebrities.
