Juicy J. Houston, an American rapper, singer, and record producer from Memphis, Tennessee, was born on April 5, 1975.

He was a founding member of Three 6 Mafia, a Southern hip hop group that was founded in 1991.

In 2002, he released Chronicles of the Juice Man, his solo debut album, in the midst of three Mafia projects.

Juicy J announced in 2011 that he was a part-owner and A&R rep for Wiz Khalifa's Taylor Gang Records, and the following year, he signed a solo contract with Columbia Records and Dr.Luke's Kemosabe Records.

On August 27, 2013, Juicy J's third studio album under the aforementioned marks was released.

He is the younger brother of frequent collaborator and fellow rapper Project Pat.

Jordan Michael Houston III was born on April 5, 1975. He devoured a number of books and essays on the music industry, learning about marketing, publishing, and royalties as a child. He looked up to fellow Tennessee artist Al Bell, who was brief co-owner of Stax Records for a short period of time. In the 11th grade at North Side High School, he wrote "Slob on My Knob."

Personal life

Regina Perera, Houston's longtime girlfriend, married him in July 2016. They have a daughter who was born in February 2018 and a son who was born in 2020.

Juicy J was a co-founder of Three 6 Mafia in 1991 and was a member of the Southern hip hop group now known as Three 6 Mafia. Crunchy Black, Gangsta Boo, and Koopsta Knicca are among DJ Paul and Lord Infamous, rappers. Juicy J, alongside DJ Paul, has founded Prophet Entertainment. They gave the name to their company partner Nick "Scarfo" Jackson in 1994 and then launched Hypnotize Minds. The group unveiled Mystic Stylez, the group's first official album in 1995. Since then, the company has released 8 albums. He unveiled his solo debut studio album Chronicles of the Juice Man under North North Records on July 2, 2002. Juicy J, as well as DJ Paul, Crunchy Black, and Frayser Boy, received an Academy Award for Best Original Song for "It's Hard Out Here for a Pimp" at the 78th Academy Awards in 2006. His second studio album Hustle Till I Die, was released under the brand Hypnotize Minds and Select-O-Hits on June 16, 2009.

Juicy J deviated from Three 6 Mafia from 2009 to 2011, focusing on his solo career. He often collaborated with Wiz Khalifa during this period, appearing on his mixtapes and releasing some of his own, including Blue Dream & Lean. Juicy J, the new member of Wiz Khalifa's Taylor Gang imprint, a part-owner and A&R representative, revealed these rumors in December 2011. On the front page of Source Magazine's May 2012 issue, he appeared alongside his Taylor Gang colleagues. He released the lead single to his third album Stay Trippy, chart-topping "Bandz a Make Her Dance" with guest appearances from 2 Chainz and Lil Wayne in 2012. Mike Will Made It was born in a two-bedroom apartment in Washington, D.C., and was directed by Mike Will Made It. The song has risen to number 29 on the US Billboard Hot 100.

Juicy J signed a recording deal with Columbia Records and Dr. Luke's Kemosabe Records in September 2012. Juicy J's third studio album, Stay Trippy, was announced in November 2012. On the album, he had expressed an interest in working with Nas, Dr. Dre, and Jay-Z. Wiz Khalifa, The Weeknd, Lil Wayne, 2 Chainz, Nicki Minaj, Chris Brown, Project Pat, Young Jeezy, Yelawolf, and Big Sean would be among the guest appearances on the album. Juicy J announced that the album would feature work from Lex Luger, Sonny Digital, Mike Will Made It, Dr. Luke, and Crazy Mike.

Juicy J will appear at the 2013 Paid Dues festival on January 20, 2013. As the second single from Stay Trippy, he released "Show Out" starring Big Sean and Young Jeezy on January 25, 2013. In June 2013, the album's third single "Bounce It" was released. The album was released on August 23, 2013, when it debuted at number four on the Billboard 200 for the first week in the United States, with first-week sales of 64,000 copies. Juicy J was included in a Mike Will Made It song starring Miley Cyrus and Wiz Khalifa on September 10, 2013.

Juicy J was included in Katy Perry's single "Dark Horse" from her fourth album Prism (2013). On September 17, 2013, the album was released. On December 17, the album's third single, "Dark Horse," was broadcast on American radio. Juicy J's fourth studio album, which will be released in 2014, will be released on January 7, 2014. Originally, he revealed that the album's name would be The Hustle Continues. Juicy J announced his "Never Sober" concert tour on January 30, 2013, which began on February 20, 2014. Travis Scott's solo singles "Neighbor" starring Lil Skies and Kevin Gates, as well as "Three Point Stance" starring City Girls and Megan Thee Stallion appeared in late 2018 and 2019. They struggled to gain traction in the market, and Juicy J was let go of his Columbia Records contract. Juicy J announced on July 31, 2020 that his fifth studio album would be named The Hustle Continues (previously used for a scrapped 2014 album title) and that Wiz Khalifa would lead the lead single on his forthcoming label Entertainment One.
