Personal life

Christina Rodrez, a Venezuelan actress, and Galavis have a daughter who was born on February 14, 2009. On season 18 of The Bachelor, he selected Nikki Ferrell, but the two soon broke up in October 2014. He started dating Venezuelan model and TV host Osmariel Villalobos in 2016. The two people were announced on August 7, 2017. They divorced in 2019.

Early life and football career

Galavis was born in Ithaca, New York, to Venezuelan parents Saul Galavis and Nelly Guinand, and he and his two siblings, both with his family, moved to Barquisimeto, Venezuela, when he was two years old. He returned to the United States to play soccer at Roberts Wesleyan College, where he tied for his third-highest number of assists (25). After many seasons of playing in the Primera División Venezolana with Dep, Ivana. He joined Miami FC in February 2008 and was a member of Italchacao, Monagas SC, Aragua FC, and Guaros FC.

Entertainment career

He left football after his 2008 season with Miami and began his career in the music industry with promotional work in the Miami bar and club scene. He began collaborating with Venezuelan singer/songwriters Frank Santofimio and Mario Donoso around this time. They began promoting Chino y Nacho, a Venezuelan duet.

Galavis began filming television commercials and spent a short time as a TV host for a Miami-based sports show, Mega TV's Mega News.

Galavs appeared on ABC reality television dating competition The Bachelorette in May 2013, but the contestant was ruled out midway in the season. ABC revealed on August 5, 2013 that he would appear in season 18 of The Bachelor, which is set to premiere in January 2014. He was the first individual from an ethnic group to be chosen as bachelor in the 17 previous editions.

Galavis created a plan to relaunch the artist, change his name, taken down all his songs from the websites, and assisted with the A&R and marketing after receiving a call from Daniel Morales in March 2016 and listening to his music. "Me Rehuso" and the English version "Baby I Won't" were released on Spe 16, 2016, where "Me Rehuso" became one of 2017's biggest hits. With just a cover art, the art cover music video has over 1 billion views, making it one of the most watched videos with only a cover art.
