James Roch Lemon II (born June 6, 1983) is an American model and actor.

Lemon, who played football for Stanford University and (briefly) the Oakland Raiders, began to perform in national commercial and print ads before stepping into acting full time.

He is best known for his appearance on the NBC drama The Night Shift.

Early life

Lemon was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. After graduating high school, he attended Stanford University and played back on Stanford's football team while still receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Science & Engineering in 2005. He appeared briefly for the Oakland Raiders but was cut during 2006 training camp. After heading to Los Angeles to continue his football training, he pursued acting and modeling.

Lemon, an action-capture actor for the Madden NFL series of video games from 2009 to 2012. Devin Wade, the protagonist of Madden NFL 18's "Longshot" story mode, was depicted by Lemon in 2017. Jenkins' first film role was as the main character in the little-known stoner comedy Bad Batch. He appeared in the 2012–13 Web series Shadow Love before finding his big break in 2013: playing Oliver in Tyler Perry's Amadea Christmas. He appeared as Nurse Kenny Fournette, a central character on the NBC medical drama The Night Shift, which lasted for four seasons (2014-2017).
