She is best known for the role of Kaylie Cruz in ABC Family's "Make It or Break It" and as FBI Agent Michelle Vega in the television series The Mentalist.
Personal life
Josie was born in Miami, Florida, and is of Cuban descent. Mercy Lopez, a middle school teacher at Zelda Glazer Middle School in Miami, Florida, is her mother. She has one older sister and two brothers. Javier Lopez, her older brother, is a Harvard University graduate and a Miami commercial litigator. She was named one of the Top Singles by OK in 2010! magazine.
She attended New World School of the Arts in Miami, where she studied stage acting. She voted for an all-star cheerleading squad in Miami before becoming an actress. At UCLA, she researched mass media communication, minoring in Spanish.
Loren married former NFL player Matt Leinart on May 28, 2018. They have two sons, Cayson Leinart, born in January 2020 and Cannon Asis Leinart, born on May 24, 2021.

Career
On the episode "People Who Use People," Josie Loren played Holly on Hannah Montana, and Miley Cyrus played Holly. Loren gained a role in Medium and later appeared on two episodes of Nickelodeon's Drake & Josh as Maria, determined to make it big in show business. Loren appeared in the episode "Get Smarter" in 2007, when she was cast on the Disney series Cory in the House, playing the role Jessica.
The Bill Engvall Show was her next project, which culminated in her being selected for a role in Diego Nunez's short film "Under Fire." She continued with Christmas in Paradise and then with 2008's comedic drama This Is Not a Test. Hill Harper, Robinne Lee, and Tom Arnold appeared together. Loren gained more fame after playing a small role in the hit film 17 Again. Burr Steers produced the big screen comedy, which stars Zac Efron, Matthew Perry, and Michelle Trachtenberg. Loren appeared in the Disney TV film Hatching Pete in 2009.
