He is best known for his appearances on The Electric Company, Sirens, and Arrow, as well as for originating Emilio Estefan's role in On Your Feet!

Early life
Segarra was born in Longwood, Florida, on June 3, 1986. He is of Puerto Rican descent and speaks fluently in Spanish. He learned to sing in his Pentecostal church but aspired to be a professional wrestler. Segarra is a graduate of New York University's Tisch School of the Arts.
Personal life
On October 17, 2014, Segarra married Brace Rice, his longtime girlfriend. On September 30, 2016, the couple welcomed their first child, a son, and the birth of their second child, a boy, was scheduled on January 8, 2020. Both he and his wife are avid sports fans.
Career
Segarra portrayed Hector Ruiz in the PBS Kids Go television series The Electric Company from 2009 to 2011. In the musical Lysistrata Jones, Mick was later invented. Segarra was announced as a cast member of the Off-Broadway world premiere of Dogfight, a musical interpretation of the film of the same name starring Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, as well as a Peter Duchan's book. On July 16, 2012, the musical premiere at the Tony Kiser Theater in Second Stage Theater opened.
He resurfaced during the first season of the comedy television show Sirens, after which he was promoted to a series regular during its second season. Segarra played a regular role on the NBC police procedural drama Chicago P.D. He appeared in the comedy film Trainwreck in 2015. Emilio Estefan appeared in On Your Feet!, a Broadway performance by Segarra, which opened at the Marquis Theater on November 5, 2015. On July 10, 2016, he would have performed his final act. Following his appearance on Chicago P.D., he died. Segarra was cast as a series regular on the CW's superhero television show Arrow for its fifth season in May 2016. Adrian Chase, a comic book actor, appeared in the series's adaptation. During the series's sixth and eighth seasons, he starred as a guest star.
Segarra has been a regular cast member on The Other Two, a comedy television series on Comedy Central, since January 2019. In December, he resurfaced on The Moodys as Marco, a "commodities broker with exceptional phone skills." He appeared in the Netflix comedy series AJ and the Queen, which premiered on January 10, 2020. Segarra appeared as a special agent on the third season of the crime drama series FBI and also appeared as a priest in the musical film Christmas on the Square that year. In the forthcoming NBC comedy pilot Night School, which is based on the 2018 film of the same name, he is expected to portray Teddy Walker. He appeared in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, a Disney+ superhero film set in July 2021.
