Avery Pohl and her appearance on ABC soap opera's long-running ABC soap opera, 'General Hospital, have come to an end. Soap Opera Digest announced with ABC that the actress has indeed left the program one day after the last of her dramatic scenes played out on film in the form of a big cliffhanger. Since the character's debut on to the show in August 2021, Pohl, 22, has portrayed Esme Prince. Esme and her ex-boyfriend Spencer (Nicholas Chavez) were presumed dead after falling overboard from a private yacht in a dramatic confrontation that also involved his new girlfriend Trina (Tabyana Ali). Esme is the daughter of two psychotic serial murderers, the late Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) and Heather Webber, who has been portrayed by four different actresses since the mid-1970s, with Alley Mills being the most recent (2022-2023).
