Jolanda Neff Career

Career

In 2014 and 2015, she was the overall champion of the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup. She was triple Under-23 Mountain Bike World Champion (2012, 2013, and 2014). She became the top world champion at the 2017 UCI World Championships in Cairns.

In June 2015, she earned her first gold medal for Switzerland in the women's cross country competition at the European Games in Baku. She went on to win the Swiss National Road Race Championships later this month.

In 2016, Neff won the UCI Mountain Bike Marathon World Championships and 2017 Mountain Bike XCO World Championships. In August 2018, she captured the European Mountain Bike Championships in Cathkin Braes, just outside Glasgow.

Neff revealed in October 2018 that she would be joining Trek–Segafredo for 2019 in road racing and Trek Factory Racing in mountain biking and cyclo-cross.

Neff received the gold medal at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo in July 2021. Her triumph, as well as her colleagues Linda Indergand and Sina Frei, captured the first Swiss Olympic podium since 1936, marking the first time a nation has won all three medals in a cycling event since 1904.
