Howard has competed for the International Fight Championship, the Ultimate Fighting Championship, CES MMA, and the Cage Fury Fighting Championships since 2004.
Personal life
Howard has three children, one with one woman and two with another; the children live with their mothers. Howard spent time as an electrician before starting to fight professionally. He is also a Boston Red Sox, the Boston Celtics, and the Boston Bruins fan. In his spare time, he also likes playing video games. Mixed martial arts career
Howard made his UFC debut against Chris Wilson at UFC 94, winning by split decision.
At UFC 101, he then met Tamdan McCrory. Both sides were involved in the fight, as the two teams had become close friends and were fighting on promotions in the Northeast. Howard was victorious in the fight by a split decision.
On December 5, 2009, Howard defeated Dennis Hallman in the Ultimate Fighter 10 Finale. Howard knocked out Hallman at 4:55 of the third round after being out-grapped for the bulk of the fight.
