Kembo Uba Kembo, who competed for the DR Congo (formerly Zaire) national team in the 1974 FIFA World Cup, is his father.

Kembo Ekoko, a former French youth international, was born in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Early life

Kembo Ekoko, a born in Kinshasa, Zaire, immigrated to France when he was six years old and spent in Bondy, Île-de-France, with his uncle and older sister. His mother decided to send him to Europe for education, but his parents remained in Zaire (later renamed Congo). The Mbappé family adopted Kembo Ekoko, who is the adopted brother of Kylian Mbappé and Ethan Mbappé.

Kembo Ekoko started playing football in the street and was noticed by scouts when playing in school. Kembo Ekoko joined AS Bondy in 1997 at the age of 9. Clairefontaine, he's four years old, will be part of another youth team. He will join Rennes after three years of preparation. Kembo Ekoko joined the youth team right away and made an impression on his first day with the club. His coworkers referred to him as "Kembinho" because of his technical skills. He had signed his first professional deal by the end of May.

Jires Kembo Ekoko Career

Club career

Kembo Ekoko made his debut in his first season, playing for Jimmy Briand in the 2–1 loss to Lille in the late minutes. He spent a few months on the first team that season, leading to him being attached to many clubs in the lower division, but the club turned down the bids.

Kembo Ekoko's playing time was limited in his second season. Kembo Ekoko lost his first game in the UEFA Cup against Lokomotiv Sofia, a 2–1 loss, before losing to Jérôme Leroy. Kembo Ekoko had a goal against Brann in the upcoming UEFA Cup match. He gained French citizenship at the end of the season, earning a call up to France's national team.

Kembo Ekoko made 13 appearances and scored 3 goals in his third season, under Dréossi's successor Guy Lacombe. He gained more playing time under Lacombe. Kembo Ekoko scored his first Coupe de la Ligue goal in a 2–2 draw in his third match of the Coupe de la Ligue against Le Mans on September 24, 2008. As a result, he was attributed to Reading, F.C., but a bid was not accepted. In the next round shootout, the club will win 4–3 on penalties to advance to the last 16 of Coupe de France on March 4th. In a 3–0 victory over Lorient, Kembo scored his first Coupe de France goal. Kembo Ekoko scored his first league goal against Le Mans a week after scoring his first goal in Coupe de la Ligue). His results indicated that the club should give him more playing time, but he began to get impatient with being on the bench and wanting more playing time. Against Guingamp, the team will progress to the final of Coupe de France. Lacombe will send Olivier Thomert, Romain Danzé, and Moussa Sow as a substitute, and the club will be without injured Jimmy Briand and without losing 2–1. Guingamp captured their first title in the end. Kembo Ekoko scored his second goal in a 3–1 victory over Lorient week weeks after the final was held on May 23rd, 2009. After the 2008/09 season, Lacombe would leave the club and be replaced by Frédéric Antonetti.

Many strikers, like Briand, Sow, and Mickay Pagis, have left the club, but Asamoah Gyan (his future Al Ain teammate) and Isma'l Bangoura kept Kembo Ekoko out of the first team in his fourth season. Despite being kicked out of the first team, he scored his first goal of the season in a 4–1 victory over Toulouse on March 20, 2010. Kembo Ekoko, who was set to finish at the 2009-10 season, has signed a new one, keeping him until 2013. He barely played time at the club during the previous season.

Kembo Ekoko returned to the first team in his fifth season after Gyan and Bangoura left the club and acquired Vctor Montao. With three games against Lyon, Auxerre, and Brest, boss Antonetti had more playing time. He scored three goals in three games. Congo's national team asked Kembo Ekoko to join his country's army, following his father's example, but he declined, saying he should concentrate on his club career. He sustained an ankle injury in Salif Sané's second half during a match against Bordeaux on December 12, 2010. He would have surgery, which was a success, but he had a string of issues with a hamstring injury. He returned to training at the end of July, just a few days after recovering fully from the injury.

Kembo Ekoko came on as a replacement for Razak Boukari, and after ten minutes, he scored the only goal in the match against the French giant Marseille. Since then, he has maintained goalscoring form, making him one of the country's best strikers, but he will lose his ability in the second half of the season, although he scored twice in a 5–0 victory over Dijon in the season's final game of the season. Dijon was relegated after one season after that triumph. He scored his first Europa League goal and set up in a 4–0 victory over Red Star Belgrade in the qualifying round of the Europa League. Thanks to that win, the club made it to the Group Stage. He scored 13 goals (included all league and cups), the highest number in his career since turning pro. Kembo Ekoko was in talks to sign a new deal in the summer, as his deal would end the following month. Antonetti announced Kembo Ekoko that he was close to signing a new contract early August. Antonetti expressed dissatisfaction with Kembo Ekoko's departure from Rennes for Al Ain.

He joined Al Ain FC on a four-year contract after one appearance for Rennes against Lyon.

International career

Since receiving French citizenship in 2008, Kembo Ekoko has been drafted into the national team's U21 squad.

A child from this part of Paris will reprise his own version of Catch Me If You Can on Saturday night, 3,000 miles away. Kyle Walker, the newest defender tasked with shackling Kylian Mbappe, is keeping up with this bolt of blue as England takes on France in the World Cup quarter finals. Rachid Mekchiche, a AS Bonds trainer, where Mbappe first stretched his legs en route to becoming the world's most dangerous player, says, "I wish him good luck."
