Walter James Treliving (born 12 May 1941) is a Canadian businessman, venture capitalist, and television personality.
He is the Chairman and Owner of Treliving Management and Boston Pizza International.
Since 2006, Treliving has served as one of the investor "dragons" on the Canadian television show Dragons' Den.
Treliving is the father of current Calgary Flames general manager Brad Treliving.

Career
Treliving used to work with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. Treliving noticed Boston Pizza's increasing success in 1968 and purchased the right to open a restaurant in Penticton, British Columbia. In 1983, George Melville, a chartered accountant and Treliving's business consultant and later partner, bought the Boston Pizza chain from Ron Coyle. The chain had grown to 95 restaurants in Western Canada by 1995, with revenues in excess of $110 million (CA$). Over 435 restaurants are located throughout North America, including Boston Pizza and Boston's Gourmet Pizza (US and Mexico division).
Treliving appeared on the cast of Dragons' Den on CBC Television in 2006. Treliving was one of the "dragons" or potential investors in the business plans made by young entrepreneurs. In 2020, he will have left the United States. Treliving had been with the show for the first fifteen years of its seasons.
