Biden, 81, says he'll wipe MORE student debt if he beats Trump and claims he 'gets' why Americans who didn't go to college are angry because many in Scranton didn't get a chance

www.dailymail.co.uk, April 8, 2024
On Monday, President Biden unveiled his latest attempts to eliminate student loan repayments for up to 30 million borrowers and promised to'never stop giving relief' as Republicans accuse him of trying to 'buy votes' ahead of the 2024 election. On Monday, President Obama travelled to Madison, Wisconsin, to speak out about his latest attempt to eliminate student loan repayments using a variety of strategies unveiled. President Biden said, 'This relief will be life-changing.' 'I will never stop to give student debt relief to hardworking Americans,' says the author.' Biden also reiterated his calls to broaden apprenticeship opportunities for students, whether they enroll in college or not, as well as making community college tuition free.

Top Republican blames Biden's 'neglect' for leaving Haiti on the brink of civil war and demand assurances $50million in US aid won't fall into the hands of 'warlords'

www.dailymail.co.uk, March 14, 2024
Republicans have been holding up funds for months for the deployment of a force led by Kenyan police to Haiti, which is now under assault by gangs. They have a $50 million fund, but McCaul says no of the money has been used yet. At the House GOP retreat in West Virginia, McCaul told reporters, 'We've already freed up $10 million from congressional notification, not one single penny has been spent.' "I don't want to throw any more money or guns into Haiti until I get promises that it is not going to go directly to the warlords."

Top Republican pledges to 'do everything' he can to support arrested American ballerina Ksenia Karelina behind bars in Russia and slams Putin for using 'whatever means necessary' to 'silence dissent'

www.dailymail.co.uk, February 20, 2024
The top Republican on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee said he is doing everything he can to find out more information about the detention of Russian-American ballerina Ksenia Karelina. Officials said Tuesday that Karelina, an American citizen, was arrested in January by Vladimir Putin's infamous Federal Security Service (FSB) on treason charges. The 32-year-old ballerina is led into a courtroom blindfolded in a video shared by a Russian news outlet, although the exact time of the incident is uncertain. Sen. Jim Risch, R-Idaho, told DailyMail.com, "reports of the detention of Russian-American ballerina Ksenia Karelina on suspicion of high treason are troubling.' 'Putin is so afraid of the Russian people knowing the truth about his brutal and unprovoked war against Ukraine that he is willing to use whatever means appropriate to muzzle opposition.' 'I'll do everything I can to ascertain the facts of Ms. Karelina's detention and ensure that the US supports her during this difficult period,' the senator said.
