Jessica Sonya DiCicco (born June 10, 1980) is an American actress known for appearing in animated television series and video games.

Maggie in The Buzz on Maggie, Flame Princess in Adventure Time and Lynn and Lucy Loud in The Loud House are among Maggie's voice roles in animation.

On Cartoon Network, she was the face of Nickelodeon's educational channel block Noggin and Mizi.

In The Emperor's New School, she was given a Daytime Emmy award for voicing Malina.

Early life

DiCicco was born in Los Angeles, California, on June 10, 1980. Bobby Di Cicco, a television and film actor, is her father. As she was a child, her family migrated to New York City, and she was raised on the Upper West Side. She was chosen by Marlo Thomas in second grade to appear on ABC's special Free to Be... A Family. She appeared in The Godfather Part III as an unidentified child, and she also appeared in Kate and Allie. In the 1993 film Household Saints, she appeared in a small role as teenage Cindy Zagarella. She was the photographer on a cover story about prep school gangsters in New York magazine, which was published in December 1996. DiCicco has also worked with Kimbo Educational on music.

Career

DiCicco attended Newhouse School at Syracuse University in the hopes of learning more about filming since she had mainly done on-camera work with Nickelodeon. She met Newhouse alum and Nickelodeon producer Mike Pecoriello, who gave her the opportunity to be the face of a new educational network named Noggin before heading to college. She promised to do the work while still a student and was given the opportunity to produce Syracuse's first-ever promos. She was the voice of Noggin during her college years and graduated in 2002. On Cartoon Network, she was also the voice of Miz Zi's Erin.

DiCicco appeared in Witness to the People in 1998 and in the television film In the Nick of Time. DiCicco has appeared on television and commercials, as well as on stage with several repertory companies. In 1999, DiCicco and her co-stars appeared in Nickelodeon's No. 1; the Nickelodeon pilot Bus No. 69. Nine people were nominated for a Young Artist Award, but The Sweetest Gift was sadly lost to The Sweetest Gift. As Our Schoolbus Turns is also a miniseries.

DiCicco appeared on The Buzz on Maggie, The Emperor's New School, Loonatics Unleashed, and Shuriken School as a voice actor. She appeared on The Replacements, El Tigre: The Adventures of Manny Rivera, American Dragon, Jake Long, Bratz, and All Grown Up! Shelby co-starred in DreamWorks' Over the Hedge and portrayed Gwen on Amy Poehler's Nickelodeon's television series The Mighty B! In the Kung Fu Panda short film Secrets of the Furious Five, DiCicco was the voice of Master Viper. She appeared on Cartoon Network' Adventure Time in 2012, where she played Flame Princess; the series has now run for more than seven seasons. She has appeared in Pound Puppies and Gravity Falls. Lynn Loud is also a character in the Nickelodeon animated film The Loud House. She was nominated for a Daytime Emmy in 2008 for her role as Malina on The Emperor's New School, but she lost to Eartha Kitt, who was also involved in the Yzma film. On Sheriff Callie's Wild West, DiCicco gives Toby the cactus and the sounds of the mule Clementine.

In addition, DiCicco has contributed to several online games, including Psychonauts, Kingdom Hearts II, Hot Shots Tennis, and Pimp My Ride.
