Jesse McCartney Career

Music career

McCartney joined Dream Street, an American pop boy band, in 1999, and remained a member until 2002. He characterized the experience as a "stepping stone" in his solo career. The group's debut CD earned them a gold medal. He began playing in a local band, starring musicians Dillon Kondor (guitar), Peter Tucker (keyboards), Sharisse Francisco (background vocals), and Ginger McCartney (keyboards), and Sherry Goffin Kondor (coordination), and produced his first album Beautiful Soul at fifteen years old.

In July 2003, McCartney released his first solo album. Three songs were included on the album: "Beautiful Soul," "Don't You," and "Why Don't You Kiss Her." "Don't Go Breaking My Heart," He performed on Anne Hathaway's "Don't Go Breaking My Heart" in 2004, which is included on the Ella Enchanted soundtrack.

Beautiful Soul, McCartney's debut solo album, was two years in the making, and it was announced in the United States on September 28, 2004 and more than a year later in Europe. It was a "pop record" with twists of urban, according to the artist. The album contained four songs co-written by the singer. Beautiful Soul debuted on Billboard 200 at number 15. The album has been rated platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America, denoting over one million units of shipment to American retailers; it is his first-certified album as of late 2009. The album had more than 1.5 million copies by mid-2006 by mid-2006. The album's lead single of the same name debuted at number 16 on the Billboard Hot 100 for the 16th time. McCartney was one of the artist winners of many accolades at the 2005 Teen Choice Awards, including Choice Crossover Artist, Choice Male Artist, and Choice Breakout Male. He was named Favorite Male Singer at the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards the following year.

Beautiful Soul, his first headlining tour, began at the Crest Theatre in Sacramento, California, on May 2, 2005. The United States portion of the tour spanned 56 stops, culminating at the Madera District County Fair in Madera, California, on September 10, 2005. McCartney toured Australia in 2005 and opened for the Backstreet Boys in Europe in the summer of 2005. Live: The Beautiful Soul Tour debuted in Santa Clara, California, on July 9, 2005.

McCartney's second album, Right Where You Want Me, co-writing only one of the songs included in it after Keith's filming. The Right Where You Want Me is more mature than his debut, reflecting his musical and personal development since he released his debut album at the age of 15. The album was released by Hollywood Records on September 19, 2006, and the Billboard 200 hit number 14 on the Billboard 200.

McCartney co-wrote the hit song "Bleeding Love" with Ryan Tedder of OneRepublic, which was released by McCartney and Tedder on McCartney's third album, but she gave it to British singer Leona Lewis for her debut album Spirit in 2007. At the 2009 Grammy Awards, the artist was selected for Record of the Year. McCartney performed his own version of his Departure album, which was released on certain Departure album's editions.

On May 20, 2008, McCartney unveiled Departure, his third album, and Canada's Departure. It's a departure from his early works in terms of musical representation, with more mature themes. The album has risen to number 14 on the Billboard 200.

"Leavin," the album's lead single, was released in March 2008 and debuted on Billboard Hot 100 at number ten, giving McCartney his highest-charting single to date. The single was certified platinum by the RIAA, with over two million downloads on iTunes, becoming McCartney's highest-certified single as of early 2009. "It's Over" was the second single from the company, and it debuted at #62 on the Hot 100 on August 26, 2008. McCartney opened Departure with Jordin Sparks, which began in August 2008 and ended in September. When on tour with sparks, he performed solo shows at theaters and small venues to promote the album. Sparks was also contacted by Sparks to write some content for her.

On April 7, 2009, McCartney re-released Departure. Four new songs were released on the re-release, "Body Language," "Crash & Burn," and "In My Veins." "How Do You Sleep?" has been included in the re-release as well as a remix of "How Do You Sleep?" Ludacris, a rapper-actor. It was the remix of "How Does Sleep" that was released from the album and was the third single from the album. It was much more profitable than the second single, debuting at #26 on the Hot 100. The album's fourth and final single was also released from the re-release, and it was a new version of "Body Language" starring T-Pain. The single debuted at #35 on the Hot 100.

On September 8, 2010, his lead single from his fourth studio album Have It All, "Shake," was released digitally on September 21, 2010. On the Hot 100, the album debuted at #54. It was reported on October 18, 2010, that Have It All will be released in January 2011. Following Christmas, it was announced on November 30 that the album would be delayed to December 28, 2010. McCartney revealed on December 3, 2010, through his Facebook page, that he had pushed the album's release date back to early 2011. McCartney replied to a query on his Twitter page on April 7, 2011, saying that it was dependent on Locke & Key pickup. "2012 is still the magical year for the record to come out," McCartney said on his WhoSay page on November 3. McCartney's mother revealed on Twitter that the replacement of his label, Hollywood Records, in January 2012 was delaying his album's debut. After all of his record label's disbandments this year, in the March 2013 issue of Glamouholic magazine, he has been covering, he announced the debut of his much-anticipated fourth studio album. Have It All, on the other hand, will never be announced.

On May 13, it was announced on On Air with Ryan Seacrest that McCartney will be joining the Backstreet Boys and DJ Pauly D on their In a World Like This Tour, which began on August 2, 2013. "Back Together," the singer's fifth studio album track, was released by independent label Eight0Eight Records on August 13. On August 15, 2013, he appeared on the Today show live. McCartney unveiled a four-song EP named In Technicolor, Part 1, which was followed by the single "Underwater," which was released on May 6, 2014. In Technicolor, McCartney's fifth studio album, was released on July 22, 2014. On November 19, 2014, the third single off the album, "Punch Drunk Recreation," was released.

McCartney revealed the debut of his latest single "Better With You" with actress Danielle Campbell on March 23, 2018. With a music video directed by Jason Lester, he later released "Wasted," followed by the live album The Resolution Tour Live.

McCartney will tour North America in order to promote the album. On November 4, 2021, the tour is set to begin in 2021 and is expected to finish on December 8 of the same year.

Since cancer left me infertile, a Facebook friend has been my surrogate

www.dailymail.co.uk, March 31, 2023
Marissa Smith, 30, of Toronto, was diagnosed with a reproductive cancer at the age of 25, leaving her infertile. Her first surrogate died. But by then, she had become acquainted with Ariel, a survivor who had previously been a surrogate in London, Ontario. Knowing that Ariel loved American actor Jesse McCartney, 35, she begged Ariel to do a Cameo video, asking Ariel if she'd be her survivor. Thank goodness, Ariel answered yes and that she is now pregnant, with the baby due in July.
