Life and career

Prescott was born in Washington, D.C., and then embraced and raised in Hartsville, South Carolina. She is best known for her role as Jacqui in Season 1 of the television series The Walking Dead, which premiered on AMC in 2010. Prescott, a resident of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, divides her time between that city and Los Angeles. Prescott appeared in just two episodes of The Walking Dead's premiere season. However, Jacqui's character was also introduced into the season cast. Prescott reprises her role as Jacqui in the Season 3 episode "Hounded" as one of the voices in the call with Rick.

On showtime, Prescott recurred as Cherry in Ray Donovan. In the Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior series, Delilah Nunes appeared as a Judge, also known as a judge who appeared on CBS in 2011. In addition, Prescott appeared in Bolden's film as Felicite. (2011). She also appears in a film directed by Harry Lennix based on William Shakespeare's Henry IV, Part 1. She also appeared on Brothers & Sisters, Southland, Parks and Recreation, and Revolution on television. She has appeared in films The Birth of a Nation (2016) and The High Flying Bird (2019).

Prescott appeared on the second season of Ray Donovan in 2014 and the following year in the sequel to the comic book series Powers. She appeared on NCIS: Los Angeles, Scandal, and Shameless. In 2019, she appeared in her first series regular role on DC Universe's Swamp Thing, portraying Madame Xanadu. After a season, the program was ended.
