Jennifer Lindsay Stone (born February 12, 1993) is an American actress known for her role in various television series, including playing the main character in Harriet the Spy: Blog Wars.

Personal life

When Stone was 20 years old, she was diagnosed with latent autoimmune diabetes in adults (LADA), also known as Type 1.5 diabetes. She quit acting at that time to study for a university degree, first in psychology and later switched to nursing so that she would have a better understanding of her illness. In January 2018, she was interviewed on the Diabetes Connections podcast about her illness and how it has influenced her life and work.

Stone was first cast in the Secondhand Lions, for which she was honoured with a Young Artist Award nomination. She recalls only discovering Michael Caine from Miss Congeniality when she was on the set of Secondhand Lions. Stone was also nominated for her guest appearance on House, and she appeared on Line of Fire and Without a Trace as a visitor.

She appeared in the Disney Channel Original Movie Dadnapped in 2009. In two episodes, she lent her voice to Phineas and Ferb as the voice of Amanda, Candace's daughter. She appeared in Harriet the Spy: Blog Wars, based on Louise Fitzhugh's book, which she later admitted she had not read before appearing in the film. She appeared in Nothing Left to Fear and the television film High School Possession later.
