Sophie in the CBS sitcom Joey (2004–2005), Paulette Bonafonette Parcelle (2001) and Sarah in The Secret Life of the American Teenager (2008–2012), She is best known for playing Jeanine Stifler (Stifler's Mom) in the American Pie franchise (1999–2012).

She appears in Christopher Guest's comedies as well as a regular actor.

Early life

Coolidge was born in Boston, Massachusetts, to Gretchen (née Knauff) and Paul Constant Coolidge, a plastics manufacturer. She was born in Norwell, Massachusetts, and she was raised there. Elizabeth and Susannah are one of four children, with a brother, Andrew, and two sisters. Coolidge attended Norwell High School, the Cambridge School of Weston, and then pursued undergraduate studies at Emerson College in Boston and the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City. Coolidge worked as a waitress in a restaurant in New York while the future Academy Award winner Sandra Bullock appeared. As an infant, Coolidge played clarinet and went to orchestra camp for three summers.

She appeared in films including A Bucket of Blood, Plump Fiction, and A Night at the Roxbury before gaining fame.
