Jenna Wolfe (born Jennifer Wolfeld; February 26, 1974) is an American writer and personal coach.

She served as a correspondent for NBC's Today, co-anchor from 2007 to 2012, and news anchor for Weekend Today from 2012 to 2014.

Wolfe left the weekend Today show and NBC News in September 2014 to host Fox Sports on FS1. Wolfe started as a reporter and fitness correspondent on the Monday show and NBC News.

On National Geographic, she was also a field reporter for Yellowstone Live.

Early life and education

Wolfe was born in Kingston, Jamaica, and he grew up in Pétion-Ville, Haiti. Bennet Wolfeld, her father, was Jewish and was born and raised in Puerto Rico. He owned a chain of leather factories in Puerto Rico and moved to Jamaica with his wife when he extended his business. Sheila Greenfeld, her mother, was also Jewish and from New Jersey. When living in the islands, Wolfe had a religious upbringing and had her bat mitzvah.

When she was five years old, she went from Jamaica to Haiti. In 1989, her family immigrated to the United States. Wolfe lived at SUNY Geneseo from 1992 to 1994. In 1996, she graduated from Binghamton University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in French and English.

Personal life

Wolfe is a dialectic speaker who speaks in English, French, and Haitian Creole. Wolfe, a lesbian, came out on March 27, 2013, a lesbian who revealed that she was expecting her first child with her partner, NBC News reporter Stephanie Gosk. In August 2013, Wolfe and Gosk welcomed a child. On February 4, 2015, their second daughter was born.

She appeared on WABC's Eyewitness News in New York City from 2004 to 2007, in which she anchored an international sports event that week. She appeared on the Madison Square Garden Network, WPHL-TV in Philadelphia as the first female sportscaster, WICZ-TV in Binghamton, New York, and the Today Show as an intern before that. Wolfe has appeared on Food Network's Iron Chef America as a judge in addition to her journalistic duties.
