Janum Khan (born 23 July 1991), better known by his stage name Jaykae, is a British rapper and actor from Birmingham, England.
Personal life
Khan was born and raised in Small Heath, Birmingham, and has a nefarious, Egyptian, Irish, and Pakistani heritage. He is a huge fan of Birmingham City's hometown football team. As a young child, he had a rough childhood and was mocked. Since his father left when he was 6 years old, he had a lot of challenges growing up.
Music career
When Jaykae began listening to other grime artists from London, he got off to a new level of music.
In 2017, Murkage Dave of the Murkage cartel appeared on "Every Country." Skepta's Tune of the Week was the album that was released on Radio 1. He appeared on Charlie Sloth's show Fire In The Booth, where he performed a two-piece set that chronicled life and the passing of fellow grime artist and friend Depzman. On the BBC radio show segment "The BBC Live Lounge," he performed two of his own songs, "Moscow" and "Toothache," as well as a cover of Cameo's "Candy." Jaykae has been described as Birmingham's "essential voice."
"That's not me" appeared on Skepta's All-Star Remix of the single "That's not me." He worked with Mike Skinner (of The Streets) on the tracks "CCTV" and "Boys Will Be Boys" and "Boys Will Be Boys" as a member. Jaykae has appeared at Glastonbury, MADE, Reading Festival, Creamfields, and the Wireless Festival. Skepta was on his Konnichiwa tour, he performed at one of his shows, and The Streets will also be supporting The Streets on their forthcoming Greatest Hits tour. At Drake's 2019 Birmingham concert, Jaykae was left out. In December 2017, Jaykae's first solo headline tour wound up in Manchester, London, and Birmingham.

Acting career
In season two of the BBC Three comedy-drama Man Like Mobeen, Khan plays Azaar, a cocaine dealer in Small Heath. On season three of Chicken Shop Date, he appeared as himself in 2018.
Jungle, Khan, a main villain of the Amazon Prime Video series, portrays Willow, an associate of one of the show's most powerful villains. According to an Evening Standard review of the show, Khan "lends a disconcerting light to his gangster role."
