Jasper Fforde Life

Jasper Fforde (born 11 January 1961) is a British novelist.

The Eyre Affair, Fforde's first book, was released in 2001.

Fforde is best known for his Thursday Next books.

He has written two books in the closely linked Nursery Crime line as well as the first books of two other independent series, The Last Dragonslayer and Shades of Grey. A collection of literary allusions and wordplay, tightly scripted plots, and playfulness with the conventions of traditional genres are among Fforde's books.

Metafiction, parody, and fantasy are often found in his books.
