Jason Andrew Narvy (born March 27, 1974) is an American actor best known for his portrayal of Eugene "Skull" Skullovitch on various iterations of Power Rangers and film franchises, beginning with Mighty Morphin Power Rangers in 1993.
Career
Narvy grew up in Los Angeles. He attended the Lee Strasberg Theater Institute. He is best known for his role as Skull, one half of Fox Television's bullying rival pair, Power Rangers Turbo, and Power Rangers in Space, before retiring from the franchise to continue college. In the last episode of Power Rangers Super Samurai, he made a cameo appearance. He also appeared in the feature film versions of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie in 1995 and a Power Rangers Film in 1997.
On the sci-fi children's film Masked Rider, he also provided Combat Chopper's voice.
In a Fox Family pilot, Men in White, Narvy played a leading role. He has appeared in numerous commercials, public service announcements, and appeared on numerous televisions, tie-ins, and Disney games.
He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Franklin and Marshall College and earned his master's degree from Mary Baldwin College, where he studied with the American Shakespeare Center, where he appeared in Henry V, Perpetles, and Hamlet in the title role. In a conflation of the Henry VI trilogy, he appeared as Richard of Gloucester and Suffolk. Jason has worked with the Legitimate Theater Company of New York, a Lower East Side company that emphasizes new performances and experimental works.
Narvy is a registered actor/combatant with the British Academy of Stage and Screen Combat, a member of the Screen Actors Guild, and has a PhD in Theater Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara. He is now a tenured professor and chair in Concordia University's Theater Department.
