Since his personal boxing trainer was shot dead, Marvel star Frank Grillo condemns LA's spiraling murder

www.dailymail.co.uk, August 19, 2022
After his personal boxing assistant Azuma Bennett, 30, (right) was shot dead, Marvel actor Frank Grillo (left) slammed LA's soaring crime rate. Bennett fired up to eight times at about 9.45 a.m. on Friday while outside a medical marijuana dispensary on West Slauson Avenue in Windsor Hills, LA. Grillo, who plays Crossbones in the Avengers and Captain America films (inset), says he's not aware what happened to Los Angeles' following Bennett's assassination. Bennett, a young Australian, was discovered dead in the doorway of a marijuana dispensary with gunshot wounds and declared him dead at the scene. His murder takes place as murder in Los Angeles is at a 15-year high.
