Jason John Bonham (born 15 July 1966) is an English drummer.

He is the son of the late Led Zeppelin drummer John Bonham and Patricia "Pat" Bonham (née Phillips).

After his father's death in September 1980, he played with Led Zeppelin on different occasions, including the Ahmet Ertegun Tribute Concert at The O2 Arena in London in 2007.

Biography and musical career

Bonham could play drums with ease at the age of five, and he appeared in the film The Song Remains the Same, drumming on a scaled-down kit. Airrace, his first band, formed at 15 years old. He joined Virginia Wolf in 1985, making two albums and touring the United States to promote the company.

Bonham appeared on Led Zeppelin's Outrider album and tour in 1988. Bonham performed alongside Led Zeppelin's three remaining members of the Atlantic Records 40th Anniversary Exhibition in New York City in May.

Bonham performed the song "Rock and Roll" with many major rock stars of the day in 1989. That year, Bonham, the band's Zeppelin-inflected first album, had a hit single, "Wait for You," and the band's successor, "Guilty," had some success; however, after a lukewarm reception for their 1992 debut, Mad Hatter, Bonham, who concentrated on session work and guest appearances, Bonham's second album "Guilty" was released; but, Bonham's first album,
