Jascha Richter (born 24 June 1963) is a Danish singer-songwriter best known as the lead vocalist and keyboardist of Michael Learns to Rock's soft rock band, where he writes and performs the majority of the band's songs.

Early life
Richter was born in New Hampshire, United States, on June 24th, 1963, before his family decided to return to Denmark, where they settled in rhus. He holds both Danish and American citizenship. Richter began playing the flute and cello as a child and then the piano. He was raised with classical music, but in his early teenage years he began to play and compose pop music. He listened to Elton John, Supertramp, and Bee Gees among others as he grew up.
Career
Michael Learns to Rock, a Danish soft rock band, has enjoyed success since the early 1990s, particularly in Asia. Richter is best known as the brain behind the success of the Danish soft rock band Michael Learns to Rock. "The Actor" and "That's Why (You Go Away)" were two top-one charts hits in Norway and Denmark, respectively.
Richter has also released two solo albums; Planet Blue in 2002 and Where I Belong in 2006. In 2021, a Dannevang play was published.
