The original was a hit, but this remake is as shapeless as a ghost, writes BRIAN VINER

www.dailymail.co.uk, March 21, 2024
Almost 40 years have passed since the original Ghostbusters arrived in the United Kingdom, and for those of us who recall seeing it back in December 1984, it was somewhat surprising. To make matters worse, I rewatched it recently, and it may have aged well beyond what we had expected. It was also a very popular film. It got Hollywood excited by the comedic potential of special effects, but society, albeit mainly in America, started to believe that the suffix 'busters' refers to everything.

We've Discovered the Key to Joseph Quinn's Heart — and It's Through His Stomach

www.popsugar.co.uk, July 14, 2022
Listen up, Joseph Quinn stans. The "Stranger Things" actor is a hot ticket right now, and we've found out how to win his heart, and it's from his stomach. Quinn was invited to reveal every last little detail of his dream meal while on James Acaster and Ed Gamble's "Off Menu" podcast. "Six oysters and a pint of Guinness were the beginning of the menu," he said. And that's before the starter. In the TV series, Eddie Munson, a British actor, said he would like his oysters with "very thin chips and mayonnaise." Despite being a "waste," the meal must be served as a "full portion." How can this nugget of information help you weasel your way into the actor's heart, you ask? Well, oysters are an aphrodisiac.
