Despite losing in the third round, the show's rating hit a new high. In Yahoo's third most searched celebrity, he became the third most popular celebrity. In Google, Taiwan's name is the second most popular keyword for Taiwan Show Business.

His brief appearance on the show captured the attention of the music industry at the time, and the restaurant where he was performing at was packed every time there was nobody on the floor at that moment. Despite the fact that Hsiao was not signed to any music recording company at this moment, he was still receiving numerous invitations to attend variety shows.

A-Mei's attention was captured by Hsiao's charisma and sudden fame. A-Mei is Taiwan's Queen of Pop, and she has invited Hsiao to perform with her in the duet "Moment of the First Sight" () in her 2007 music album Star. It became the instant No. 1 in the industry. 1 was struck. In December 2007, Hsiao held a medley of four nominated original themes in the Golden Horse Award, Taiwan's most coveted film festival. Jam Hsiao also attempted acting during this period. He appeared in the famous Taiwanese drama "Fated To Love You/ ") and received many compliments. In December 2008, Jam Hsiao visited Italy. He wrote a book "Listening to Italy" and was inspired by this journey and wrote a song called "To My Beloved." This album was released as an EP with video to raise funds for the Genesis Social Welfare Foundation.

Following the success of his first album, Hsiao's second album Princess debuted in July 2009 with even greater success. For three months, the title rock song "Princess" had been a No. 1 hit. This 12-song collection featured four songs by Hsiao himself, as well as the possibility of becoming the song producer for these songs. These four songs represented his ingenuity, and each one of them had its own unique style. In December 2009, he revealed "Mr. Rock Concert," his first large-scale live concert in Taipei Arena.

Hsiao's third album, Love Moments, was released in November 2009 as part of his pre-concert campaign. This collection featured ten covers of songs that had been originally performed by top female singers. In a live-band style, Hsiao captured them. Among them, "Silent Flower" was in Taiwanese dialect, and the album's first hit song, "New Endless Love," was performed and lost on television show One Million Star in 2007.

Hsiao's first large-scale concert was met with raptious applause. He toured four more cities, including Singapore, Beijing, Kuala Lumpur, and Shanghai, from February 2011. In each of the various concert venues, which was greatly appreciated by fans, he tailored each concert to the local market's needs and embedded various local elements.

Since his 2009 "Princes" album, he's been the individual song producer, but this time round, he'll be playing the role of album producer, a first for Hsiao. This album received rave reviews and was ranked number one on Taiwan's KKBOX Music Rank. In Singapore, he was also named the Best Male Singer in the 17th Golden Melody Awards. It's the 11th best-selling album of 2011 in Taiwan, with 50,000 copies sold.

In 2011, Hsiao was voted one of China's most popular musicians, and she was invited to appear in a trio with Li Jian and Khalil Fong on CCTV New Year's Gala. This is a five-hour variety show on Chinese New Year's Eve, and it has become an embedded tradition in most Chinese families. Hence, it's a great honor to be on this show. However, Hsiao became sick with influenza and laryngitis just days before the festival. He managed to make it to the rehearsals, but his illness deteriorated. He could hardly talk on the night of the performance. Hsiao knew he'd have to fulfill his obligations as a performer. As one of the three founders, he also realized that this was going to be a once-in-a-lifetime for his two partners. Hence, he did not cancel the appearance and refused to do a lip-sync. "I did my best" was his only explanation after the show. Despite the fact that his appearance was a disappointment, the production unit, the fellow musicians, and the audience all respect him. His saga became a hot topic of discussion in China after the New Year, and his popularity soared. "There's a spirit called Jam Hsiao" prompted this episode, which shows how much attention he has received from the public.

After three months of competition, Xiao Yi Hang, one of his students, earned first place and was subsequently signed by Warner Music Ltd, his record label company. On Season 2 of Duets, he reprised his role as a mentor.

In June 2014, Hsiao's sixth album, The Song, was released. He produced six out of ten songs on this album, as well as the album engineer. He had specially engaged a dance instructor from Korea to choreograph his dance for the song "Kiss Me" and was reported to have learned it by a video camera in just two days. In May, the song "Kelly" was chosen as the ending track on the Korean drama "You Who Came From The Stars," which was broadcast in Taiwan. "The Song" was also selected to be the closing song for thirteen Shin Kong Mitsukoshi malls in Taiwan, which will be played right before the malls close on July 1st.
