Jade Dernbach Life

Jade Winston Dernbach (born 3 March 1986) is an English cricketer who plays for Surrey County Cricket Club.

He also appeared for England between 2011 and 2014.

He made his first-class debut in 2003 and received the NBC Denis Compton Award in 2004 and 2009. Born in South Africa and first educated at St John's College in Johannesburg, he went to England at the age of 14 and gained British citizenship, making him eligible for England's cricket team.

He was called up to the England Lions as a replacement for Ajmal Shahzad for the 2011 Cricket World Cup's knockout stages and then against Sri Lanka later this year after impressing for the England Lions in the West Indies in the early part of 2011. In The Daily Telegraph, Derek Pringle described him as a fast bowler capable of both conventional and reverse swing, as well as deceiving the batsman by bowling a variety of slower balls.

Personal life

Dernbach was born in Johannesburg, South Africa, to a South African father and an Italian mother, and he has used an Italian passport. In 2000, he and his family migrated to England, where he was 14 years old. Rugby union was his favorite sport in South Africa, but England's cricketer David Hughes began to develop as a cricketer. He quickly progressed through the age groups after bowling at a Surrey under-15s net session.

Despite being born in South Africa and his first call-up to the England squad, he said, "I don't owe anything to South Africa." I was born there, did a bit of training, but my whole cricket career has been based in the United Kingdom, and the United Kingdom is my home. I want to give England cricket the best I can, and it's the world where the country has given me everything I have now."
