These prime actresses has established her as one of Telugu cinema's most promising new actresses.

Isha Anand Sharma Career

Career

Sharma, who wanted to break into film, had auditioned for several roles but was turned down either due to her curly hair or because the casting directors felt that she was too young. She eventually secured the lead female role in the 2009 Hindi horror film opposite Rajneesh Duggal, produced by Vikram Bhatt. Critics also lauded her portrayal of a possessed woman. Nikhat Kazmi of the Times of India said she "delivers a consummate job" and characterized her performance as "excellent," "exceptionally] brilliant," and "very convincing." The film was a commercial success, Bhatt's first box office debut after six years and ten films, and Sharma received a Best Female Debut Award at the 54th Filmfare Awards. She had her next film, Phhir, a horror film starring Vikram Bhatt, who directed the film, and her 1920 co-star Rajneesh Duggal, three years ago. Phhir, on the other hand, was not as well-received as 1920, opening to pessimistic reviews, and failing at the box office, with Sharma getting mixed feedback for her appearance. "Not even for a minute does she exude the vigor of being a psychic," Sonia Chopra said of Sujata Chakrabarti, who claimed she was "the only one in the film who can act." Hum Hai Raahi Car Ke, her third film, was released two years later and was a critical and financial loss. Sharma had two debuts in 2014: Puri Jagannadh's romance Heart Attack opposite Nithiin, her Telugu debut, and a Hindi film Hasee Toh Phasee starring Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra, both of whom appeared in a supporting role. She referred to her character in the former as "vulnerable yet sexy" and spent two months on her Telugu diction. Sharma received praise for her appearance in Heart Attack, with The Times of India claiming that she "looks like a natural actor and does a good job" in her "stunning debut," while 123telu.com said she had made a "stunning debut." Both films were commercially successful, with Hasee To Phasee ending up as one of the highest-grossing Hindi films of 2014.

Rana Vikrama, her first Kannada film, alongside Allu Arjun and Samantha Ruth Prabhu, was released on consecutive days in April 2015. Both films were financial successes, with the former raking Telugu films of all time receiving mixed reviews from critics. In Subramanyam for Sale, a Telugu romantic comedy, she was paired opposite Sai Dharam Tej in her next film. The film, directed by Harish Shankar, was a moderate success, and Sharma received raves for her role. Sharma dazzled in a stunning lehenga as she walked the ramp for Shravan Kumar at the 5th edition of Indian Federation for Fashion Development's India Runway Week. The designer kept the collection region-specific and on display the south's less well known handlooms.

Sharma had three new titles in February 2016, two of which were in Telugu. Madan directed Garam's first film, and she was cast as the love interest of the character played by Aadi. Swetha, who plays her ex-boyfriend, appears in her next film, Adivi Sesh, where she played the central role. She was honored for her final release of the year, the romantic comedy Idhu Namma Aalu, her first Tamil film in which she appeared in a small role and also performed an item number on the song "King Kong," which topped the charts in South India, and her debut as a king Kong" was acknowledged. Vidyut Jammwal, the female lead in Commando 2, a sequel to the 2013 film Commando: A One Man Army, where she plays an inspector. The film, on a commercial basis, was an average-grosser. In a MX PLAYER webseries titled Pati patni aur panga, she played a transgender woman in 2020.
