Indio Solari Career

Career

Solari founded "El Mercurio" in a small fabric printing workshop in Valeria del Mar in the 1970s. Guillermo Beilinson (Skay's elder brother) was involved in a small fabric printing workshop. Solari's vivacious speech and eccentric behavior made him a target in his community by then.

Solari started a project with Beilinson brothers and other artists in 1976, which would be the beginning of Patricio Rey Su Redonditos de Ricota, and he continued as a guitarist until the band eventually split in 2001.

Solari launched El Tesoro de los Inocentes (Bingo Fuel), his first solo project after Los Redondos' separation, in 2004, with his band Los Fundamentalistas del Aire Acondicionado, which was later on shown in Argentina and Uruguay. Porco Rex, the Fundamentalistas second album, was released in December 2007. It was much less complicated and poetic. "Loneliness is the playing yard of Porco Rex," he says in the prologue.

Solari and his band El Perfume de la Tempestad, a compilation of CD and Vinyl, was released in 2010.

Solari and Los Fundamentalistas unveiled their fourth studio album, Pajaritos, bravos muchachitos, which also includes a song performed with his old bandmates Semilla Buccarelli, Walter Sidotti, and Sergio Dawi.
