Ileana Mercedes Cabra Joglar (born April 28, 1989), also known as 'iLe,' is a Puerto Rican singer, composer, and vocalist.
She began her musical career as an adolescent, as the sole female singer of Calle 13, a group she and her brothers René Pérez Joglar (Residente) and Eduardo Cabra Martnez (Visitante). iLevitable, her first solo project that debuted in June 2016, was nominated for the Latin Grammy Awards as "Best New Artist." iLe has captivated the international media during her career, with shows in Puerto Rico, the United States, and Europe.
She has recently announced 'Hate,' her latest single release, which will be included in her second solo album.
Solo career
She appeared in the annual Banco Popular TV Christmas Special, which has been produced and broadcast each year since 1993. 4 La Pared, one of Puerto Rico's first commercial works written by Puerto Rican composer Roberto Angleró, was a hit on this occasion for the special "Hecho con Sabor a Puerto Rico" Ileana.

During the launch of his fight against Floyd Mayweather Jr., boxing champion Miguel Cotto selected Joglar to perform the Puerto Rican National Anthem. Her interpretation was widely celebrated, including in her MusiCares Person of the Year address in 2015: "I was in a boxing match against a boxer from Puerto Rico and someone from Puerto Rico performing the Puerto Rican national anthem." "Estoy Real" was a project by Isabelo Cordera in 2014, which was shot at La Trastienda Club in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She was invited by Jorge Drexler to perform "Olas y Arena" by Puerto Rican composer Sylvia Rexach during Drexler's concert in Puerto Rico as part of the Uruguayan singer's tour one year later.
She appeared on "Hijos del Canveral," her brother's debut solo album, in 2017.
