It's official that "Yellowstone" will come to an end. Paramount revealed on May 5 in a POPSUGAR press release that the long-running and beloved series will come to an end with season five. The show will be replaced by a new sequel spinoff series from creator Taylor Sheridan. "Yellowstone" has been the pillar on which we have created a whole universe of global hits, from '1883' to 'Tulsa King,' and I am positive our Yellowstone sequel will be another big success, thanks to Taylor Sheridan's creative mind and our incredible casts who make these shows come alive," President and CEO Showtime/MTV Entertainment Studios Chris McCarthy said in a tweet at the time. "The Dutton tale continues, picking up where Yellowstone leaves off in another epic story." "We're thrilled to bring this exciting journey to audiences around the world," 102 Studios CEO David Glasser said.
