Nigel Bennett (born January 28, 1984) is an American battle rapper best known by his stage name, Hollow da Don.
Life and career
Hollowa Don was on 106 & Park's Freestyle for seven weeks, earning a spot in the program's Hall of Fame by 2006. In 2007, he put up a good showing in the Houston division of Jumpoff's World Rap Championships, winning an MVP award with an 8-2 record.
Hollow's career began in the rise of the modern-gen battle rap leagues, in which rappers could mix their freestyle raps with written rhymes. Hollow won ten straight battles before finally falling to Arsonal in a tense matchup on his debut at Fight Klub in 2008. Hollow was ripping through Grind Time's newly formed East Coast division and heading out to the Fresh Coast and St. Louis to compete with veterans.
