Helen Joyce Gabriel Flanagan (born 7 August 1990) is an English actor and model.
She is best known for her appearances in Coronation Street from 2000-2012; she reprised the role in 2017 before going on maternity leave on 8 June 2018.
Early life
Flanagan was born in Bury, Greater Manchester, England. She attended Westholme School in Blackburn, Lancashire, England.
Personal life
Flanagan's parents are Roman Catholic; she has also expressed a strong feeling of her religious roots; she has expressed that she has maintained a strong link to her religious roots.
Flanagan first became engaged to Preston North End winger Scott Sinclair on May 31, 2018. They have two children and one son.

Career
In Coronation Street in January 2000, Flanagan first appeared as Rosie Webster. At the British Soap Awards in 2006, she was nominated for "Best Dramatic Performance by a Young Actor or Actress," losing to Ellis Hollins of Hollyoaks. At the same awards in 2007, she was nominated for "Villain of the Year" for the first time, this time losing to Coronation Street co-star Jack P. Shepherd. Flanagan appeared in Coronation Street: A Knights Tale as her character Rosie Webster in 2010. Just Rosie, Rosie Webster's first Coronation Street spin-off in 2011, explored her character Rosie Webster's attempt to start a modeling career in London. Flanagan left Coronation Street in February 2012 to pursue other causes.
Flanagan appeared in the twelfth series of I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! in November 2012, placing in seventh place. On Channel 5, she appeared in Celebrity Super Spa, a reality-television show based in a Liverpool salon.
