Helen Baker, (born in England on April 18th), is an English author. Baker studied economics at the University of York before receiving a bilingual secretarial certificate from the City of London College and a Certificate of Education from Wolverhampton Technical Teachers' College.

She is best known for her books on personal finance, especially Money Matters For Women (1993), which was later released by Penguin as Wealth For Women (2005). Teaching English as a Foreign Language In her books, Teaching English as a Foreign Language (1996) and English - Laugh And Learn (2006). Jane Austen's books, sequels like Playfulness (2008), Jane Austen's Mansfield Park's sequel, and some that have undergone a complete transformation, as well as Miss Jane Austen's Lady Susan (2005).
